Is the festival all ages?
The FotV festival is an 18+ event. If we did an all ages show, it would have to end at 9:30pm due to St. Paul curfew laws, which is truly not in the festival’s best interest at this time. The show unfortunately needs to remain 18+. We apologize to the all the underage fans out there and hope that with your support we can continue the festival so that one day you will be able to attend.

What do I do if my band is interested in playing the next Flight of the Valkyries Metal Festival?
If you are a metal band with lead female vocals, we want to hear from you. To get your bands name in front of the promoter - SwordLord Productions - please send an email to PLAZAGUY6FT5[at]aol[dot]com with the following information:

1.  The full name of your band with all appropriate spelling and intonation indicators along with the genre that you feel you fall into.

2.  Links to your website and/or MySpace.

3.  One full-length MP3 of a song that you feel best represents your band.

4.  A high resolution JPEG file of:  a) Your band logo, b) Your band photo.

5.  The information for the main contact person for your band.  This individual should be able to speak for the band and accept offers.  A valid email address and phone number is required.  A MySpace email is not acceptable.

Please remember, YOU MUST BE A BAND WITH FEMALE LEAD VOCALS.

Bands who help promote the festival will be the first to be considered to play in future festival years. (The more support you show us now, the more support we will be able to show you in the future.)

Hosted images and banners will be posted to the Web site and MySpace. Once the new images are available, please post them on your MySpace pages, Web sites, or any other music related sites or forums you have access to.
